Islamic Geometric Panel. Made from resin with a hand finished plaster finish to resemble a rustic look and feel of a plaster carving. The surface has a rough and stone like texture which really carries depth and character. This piece is embellished with pigmented resins in each geometric segment. The paint has a reactive quality which shows a marbled pearl finish. Coloured in green and gold tones with satin finish. The frame is handmade from heavy solid Maple wood with a deep Jacobean finish and sealed with a velvet matte varnish. This is a beautiful dark rich tone look against the plaster piece. The distinct pattern was inspired by the 16 point geometry pattern from Alhambra Spain. The surface is slightly textured and finished in a matte look. Please note this is a heavy piece and needs to be securely hung on the wall. Each art piece is fitted with heavy duty hooks.
